Brunswick Bowling Announces Promotion

Brunswick Bowling announced recently that Michael Postema has been promoted to new business consultant.

In this new position, Postema will be responsible for new center development, focusing on non-traditional bowling venues.

Postema brings a wealth of knowledge to this position. His career with Brunswick began in 1991. He has held various positions both in the Brunswick home office in Muskegon, Mich., and in field sales, including area sales manager for 14 years, which will benefit Postema with his new sales responsibilities.

Postema’s former territory in the Midwest will now be handled by area sales manager, Chris Kakavas. Kakavas has a great deal of industry experience and has enjoyed much success over the years while establishing lifelong relationships with many bowling center proprietors throughout the region.

Postema will report directly to Kurt Harz, vice president sales. Kakavas will continue to report to Dan Borgie, director of sales, Eastern region.
