Brunswick Named Capital Equipment Supplier For USBC Women’s Championship
Brunswick Bowling & Billiards and the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) have established a partnership agreement in which Brunswick will provide bowling center equipment and support during the 2010 and 2011 USBC Women’s Championships. The partnership marks the first time the USBC Women’s Championships will be held in arena-style format.
The 2010 USBC Women’s Championship will take place March 27 – July 9, 2010 a the El Paso Convention and Performing Arts Center in El Paso, Tex., and the 2011 tournament will be held in Syracuse, N.Y. The 2010 tournament will feature a new format. Past tournaments featured five average-based divisions. In 2010, the tournament will move to handicap competition, new divisions and more prize money than ever before.
Brunswick will provide and install a total of 48 lanes in an arena setting including GS-X Pinsetters™, Pro Lane™ synthetic lanes, and custom Lanescape™ masking units for both tournaments. Brunswick will also provide bowling pins during the entire tournament.
