Gary Smith Promoted To Vice President International Sales
Brunswick Bowling Products announced today that Gary Smith has been promoted to vice president of international sales, effective immediately.
Smith is a veteran of Brunswick and the bowling industry. He began his career with Brunswick in 1988 in the service department working in tech support and training. That same year, he moved to capital equipment sales as an area sales manager. Beginning in 1995, Smith assumed escalating management roles in sales and marketing.
Most recently, Smith held the position of director of marketing of capital equipment playing a key role in developing sales relationships, sales tools and the training and development of the sales force on a worldwide basis.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Smith was formally educated in Intelligence Operations and Analysis, followed by extensive education in sales and marketing at the University of Wisconsin, Kellogg School of Management and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Smith reports to Brent Perrier, president – Brunswick Bowling Products.
Reporting to Smith in his new position are Bob Jackson, director of international sales, and Stefan Medin, director of sales and marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
