Virginia’s Largest Entertainment Complex Is Rising Up Near Richmond
Ground broke in June for Uptown Alley, an awesome 38-lane, 55,000 sq.-ft. facility being developed by gas station and convenience store mogul Steven Uphoff and family.
The project, located in Midlothian, VA, is a collective effort of the Brunswick Business Alliance that will handle its architecture, design, capital equipment installation and management.
This hybrid center will house two distinct environments, with family friendly bowling on the ground floor and second-floor bowling designed for adults and group events. A rollicking redemption arcade will share the first floor, with dozens of games appealing to kids of all ages.
Uptown Alley will house two full-service restaurants, and upstairs will also feature four high-tech equipped meeting rooms to host anything from corporate confabs to social club outings. At the complex’s hub will be Uphoff Rotunda – a sumptuous round wooden bar with seating for over 100. Uptown Alley is slated to open in June 2012. “It’s been over four years in the making,” noted Steven Uphoff. “But to deliver this kind of ‘WOW factor’ and provide world-class food, stellar service and entertainment, the extra time in development is worth every penny.”
