Kurt Harz To Retire From Brunswick Bowling
Brent Perrier, president of Brunswick Bowling and Billiards, announces today the retirement of Kurt Harz, vice president of capital sales – Americas.
“Of all of the outstanding leaders in the history of our company, I dare say that no one has done a better job of serving our customers, serving our fellow team members and exhibiting unwavering devotion and commitment to the Brunswick brand,” Perrier said. “Certainly he deserves his well-earned retirement, but it’s going to be tough to say goodbye. Let us all recognize Kurt for doing so much to help our company and the bowling industry evolve in so many positive ways.”
Harz began his career at Brunswick in 1975 after graduating from Western Illinois University. He spent more than 39 years with the company in a variety of sales roles from junior salesman to vice president of capital sales – Americas.
As the company reconfigures its sales efforts in preparation for Kurt’s retirement, Perrier said, Dan Borgie has been promoted to vice president of modernization sales – North America and John Roush has been promoted to vice president of new center construction – North America. Both promotions are effective immediately.
Borgie began his career at Brunswick in 1984 and has continuously taken on new challenges and progressed through the sales ranks to his current position. Roush began his Brunswick career in1994 and has increased his responsibilities in a variety of sales roles.
